I was a student this week, in two very different classes.
My first displayed many characteristics. Time flew by. I was engaged in conversation with peers, and the facilitators. The facilitators expected me to do stuff; i was involved. I had to express myself, participate, have an opinion. After the session i felt inspired, enthused and excited to try out the great things I learned.
My second was delivered by a very knowledgable individual, in a very traditional manner. I sat and listened. I made notes. I watched some demonstrations. Occasionally, the lecturer mentioned something relevant to me, something i could connect with. After the session, i felt slightly motivated, but otherwise tired and uninspired.
